Jalene has gotten a place in law school and we were way beyond proud of and happy for her. Then again the sad thing is that she’s flying back Melbourne tonight and will only be back in December, but I’m sure time will zoom past really quickly and it’ll be December before we all know it (:

Last Friday, Shermaine and Jalene had a dinner date at Sushi Tei @ Paragon and I wanted surprise Jalene with some durian puffs and eclairs from Goodwood Park so I headed to the hotel after I knocked off from work to get them and joined the both of them after that.

At the Scape place where we shared some of the durian puffs and we went to Jalene’s mom’s salon after that.

My happy sidekick.

Jalene’s parents brought us to No Signboard at Geylang for supper:

Salted egg yoke crayfish, the gravy is damn good.

Drunken prawn soup.

Chilli crab.

Shark’s fin stew soup.

Mango pudding.

It was damnnnn crowded and the queue was really long, we waited more than 2 hours to only spend around an hour to grab our loots.

Loots loots loots.

Went back to Bishan and had Ding Tai Fung for lunch before going over to the salon and chill while Jalene removed her gellish nail polish.

Ordered the usuals, normal xlb, chilli crab xlb, red bean xllb, soup, noodles, fried rice and wantons.
